  Stephen N. Davis

Principal and Founder of The Davis Management Group providing interim COO and VP Sales and Marketing services to high technology companies. He works with CEOs and management teams who want to:

With over past 21 years as a senior marketing and sales executive in the computer, software, consumer electronics and internet industries – the last 12 years as a consultant – he has successfully built, managed, and restructured numerous sales and marketing organizations. He has successfully introduced over 300 new software and hardware products into the consumer, desktop computer, workstation and vertical computer markets.

Steve is a frequent speaker and prolific writer on marketing and sales topics. He has given speeches at some of the nation’s leading business and technology forums, including: IncWorld, MacWorld, COMDEX, SOFTWORLD, The Boston Computer Society, Small Business Association of New England, Boston Business Roundtable, Pro Micro Boston, MIT, Canadian Government Software Forums, and New England Inventors Association. His articles have appeared in a variety of publications, including Personal Engineering & Instrumentation News, SBANE’s Enterprise, The Boston Computer Society’s Business Reply, Baystate Business Magazine, Computer Dealer News, Inc Advisor, Mass High Tech, Sales Prospecting, Sales & Marketing Strategies, Software Success, The WUGNET Journal.

His executive education programs – workshops, seminars, and speeches – are customized to each group’s unique business situation. Over 800 companies have attended his seminar series on “Launching Software Successfully" and "Software Product Marketing."

Steve has guest lectured at Clark University, Boston College, University of Rhode Island, and Brown University. He is an active volunteer at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Venture Forum including serving on the executive board and Chair of the Marketing and Workshop Committee.

Steve’s academic credentials include an MBA from Syracuse University. He also holds an M.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Engineering.
